Nursery Life

At Hopes and Dreams, we work hard to give your child the best start in life in an environment where the little things matter.

From hiring dedicated, caring staff to offering a balanced, nutritious diet we do all we can to make that happen.

We hope you gain a sense of life at our nursery, and we strongly recommend arranging a visit to see our ethos in action in one of our settings.

*Please note, we are closed for an additional day in 2023 on Monday 8th May, to observe the Coronation of HRH King Charles III*

Parent Involvement

It is important to us that you feel involved in life at the nursery. You will have regular communication with your key person and staff to discuss your child’s progress and needs, but we encourage you to get involved where you can.

Links with The Lyceum School

Being part of the Dukes Education family of nurseries, schools and colleges allow us to work together and draw on the strengths of our neighbours and fellow educational providers.

Since joining the family, we have been working closely with The Lyceum School to give children at both settings the very best start in life.

The opening of our second site at Old Street allows us to develop this further and our children will benefit from cross-site activities and events with the Reception class at The Lyceum, making new friends and strengthening our school readiness preparation.

This link also means as parents you will benefit from workshops jointly led by The Lyceum and Hopes and Dreams and receive invites to some of their events throughout the year. You also benefit from priority entry should you decide The Lyceum is the right next step for your child.
