Happy Easter Celebration!

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. According to Christian history, Jesus was crucified on a Friday and rose three days later on Sunday. Easter is held on the first Sunday after the full moon in March, which is why Easter can land anywhere between the 22nd of March and the 25th of April. Eggs and chicks symbolize new life. Eggs have been a symbol of spring since ancient times. An egg also is a symbol of the rock tomb out of which Christ emerged when he arose again. The chick, hatching out of the egg, symbolizes new life or re-birth. Rabbits usually give birth to a big litter of kittens, so they became a symbol of new life.
