Hopes and Dreams Montessori Nursery School in Islington, London, is celebrating its special anniversary of 21 years since its opening in September 1997.

On Friday 16 November, Cavendish Bear, Hopes and Dreams mascot, came early in the morning to greet the children and parents to help raise money for Children in Need. It was a big surprise for everybody, and both parents and – especially – the children were very excited to be greeted by Cavendish Bear. Later in the day, Cavendish Bear paid a visit to all classrooms, and the children had the opportunity to interact with him and take photographs. Throughout the day, all classrooms organised different activities for the children to promote and encourage awareness of Children in Need’s great cause, raising £406.12.

Cavendish Bear also relaunched the school’s website, which now has a vibrant and refreshed look. The aim of the new website is to simplify and improve visitor’s access to the information available online, as the school team is always looking to innovate wherever it can.
