Staffing levels at Hopes and Dreams meet or exceed those laid down by Ofsted regulations. Everyone we employ is passionate about the development of children and they deliver an extremely high standard of early childhood education.
We seek individuals to join our team who have a compassionate approach and understand the importance of following each child’s own needs. We strive to provide continual support and training to our staff through Inset Days, individual training courses and regular appraisals.
Each child is assigned a Key Worker who enables a special relationship to be established with the child. There is a developmental record kept by the Key Worker to which you will have access to at all times. We have always maintained an open door policy as we believe the key to success is communication and sharing.

We welcome parents as an essential part of the school ethos and learning experience. By creating this family atmosphere the children are able to share experiences with both parents and teachers.
The majority of our staff are qualified as either Montessori Teachers, Nursery Nurses or Nursery Officers. All our staff are police checked (CRB) and undergo reference checks and a days trial at the Nursery School before any offer of employment.
This year our Senior Montessori Teacher obtained Early Years Professional status which will become a requirement in 2015. The training enables the Early Years Professional to lead and support staff in Early Years Foundation Stage principles within the setting and to ensure the best practice possible in helping children develop from birth until the age of five, a crucial time in their lives.
