Ofsted Report

The purpose of this inspection is to assure government, parents and the public of the quality of childcare and education. To view the report, click here.

Green Quality Indicator

The Quality Inspection which assesses the level of quality we provide to the children and staff takes place twice a year. It is done by the Early Years Foundation Stage Professional Development Officer.

We have been identified as ‘green’ which is the highest level possible in the overall inspection which assesses various areas, e.g. staffing and leadership, outcomes for children, partnership with parents, carers and partner professionals.

Quality Counts

This is an accreditation scheme, which has been develeped by National Day Nurseries Assosiation and it is designed to promote quality-learning experiences and care in establishments that care for young children.

Investor in People

The Investors in People Standard is a business improvement tool designed to advance an organisation’s performance through its staff.

NMT Nursery Awards 2008

Hopes and Dreams Montessori Nursery School was shortlisted in 2008 as one of the best in the United Kingdom in the category Individual Nursery of the Year and Cornelia Harrison for Nursery Manager of the Year.

Second year in a row! The Nursery School has been nominated in the Green Nursery Award and our Chef, Nora Amoo, has been shortlisted in the Nursery Chef/Cook of the Year category.

Giant Green Business Awards 2009

Hopes and Dreams have won the Giant Green Business Awards in the Waste Minimisation (small business) category.

Archant London Environmental Awards 2009

The Nursery School was a finalist in the Best Small Environmental Business category.

MEDIA

Hopes and Dreams was featured on ITN in a Food Report as an example of a nursery setting providing healthy balanced diet to the children. To view the video footage, click here.

Hopes and Dreams children have participated in a BBC programme 'Horizon: Why are thin people not fat?' in an experiment about the role of genetic predispositions and eating habits in children and why they make certain choices with regards to food and how much they eat.
