Health and Safety in the Childcare sector is of vital importance and First Aid diplomas are one of key requirements for childminders, babysitters and nannies. Ofsted (the official body for inspecting nurseries and schools) made it compulsory for staff in nursery settings to hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Hopes and Dreams organise highly successful Paediatric First Aid courses on a regular basis which are suitable for parents and childcare professionals: 1 day Child and Baby Emergency Responder Course and 2 day Paediatric First Aid Course.

By attending one of our training courses, you would gain vital life-saving skills, so that in the event of an emergency you will know what to do and have the confidence to help.

Each course covers essential topics, such as:

Anaphylaxis Shock Treatment
Recovery Position Diabetes
Epilepsy and Seizures Burns and Scalds
Choking Croup
